Each side scores the total value of all its melded cards, plus bonus points for each natural canasta (500), each mixed canasta (300), going out (100, but 200 if concealed), and each red 3 declared (100, but 200 points for each if all four are declared by one side).

What are black threes worth in Canasta?
In Canasta, Jokers are worth 50 points, Aces and 2's are worth 20 points, Kings through 8's are worth 10 points and 7's through 4's and black 3's are worth 5 points.

(Note that in a canasta, the values of the cards themselves are counted in addition to the bonus for the canasta, so for example a natural canasta of seven kings is really worth 570 points altogether - 500 for the canasta and 70 for the kings.)
The Canasta of black 3's must not contain any wild cards and must be the last 7 cards in the player's hand. This Canasta is not worth any points, and is only useful for "Going Out".
