What to expect after a float?

A degree of relaxation or sleepiness
Many people feel some degree of relaxation together with a sense of tiredness, sleepiness or feeling a bit “spaced-out”. If you can relate, remember – a couple more floats will leave you feeling better and better.
Sometimes, the water and air temperature creates high humidity in the tank which can have a negative effect possibly resulting in nausea. While this is a common reason for nausea, many times the same sensations can be chalked up to anxiety, as anxiety disorders both mild and severe can magnify reactions in our body.

If you dye your hair, you will need to wait at least 10 days after you dye it to give your new color time to set in completely. With red dye, we require waiting 30 days to float and you must bring a tight-fitted swim cap.
